Private/ One-to-One Sessions at the Studio
At Art InDeed our main goal is to spread wellness through creativity to as many people as possible. One of the main ways we do that at the studio is through private sessions booked by the general public and various organizations or corporations catered towards the individual's needs and desires.
Below are the list of the common, privately booked sessions we offer. These rates include time with practitioner and/or professional artist or art therapist and all art supplies.
*NOTE- HST (13%) is charged on top of all of the below services.
One to one private art programs in the studio for children and teens:
Monday nights – ART THERAPY with Jackie
The Art Therapy Program through Art INDeed is for children, families and the community at large.Art therapy is a psychotherapy wherein individuals of all ages and backgrounds use art in varying ways. No matter how it is used, art therapy is a creative outlet for people struggling with the circumstances of their lives. It is particularly beneficial for children. Children are naturally creative. Creating artwork is a fun and non-threatening venue that allows kids to tackle tough issues in a creative way.The Art Therapy Program uses the art making tools and expressive modalities as a medium to explore, experiment and to provide opportunities for: Stress relief, lifting mood, and building self-esteem. Processing grief and loss. Emotional Regulation. Art to soothe transitions (new siblings, new settings, new school, after a big move, big life changes). Relaxation. Building art skills and technique and developing pride in accomplishment. $55.00/session
Tuesday nights – CREATIVITY EXPRESS with Katie
The Creativity Express Program is for youth who love to be expressive and creative. It is for children interested in the expressive arts and in the visual arts. (Drawing, painting, building, sewing, singing, music, stories and story-telling, writing). It is for youth who would benefit from creative activities that offer a focus on the process of creating rather than the "end product" Creativity Express uses the art making tools and expressive modalities as a medium to explore, experiment and to provide opportunities for: Self-discovery, Personal growth and learning opportunities. The program fosters: Relaxation, Building Self Esteem, Pride in Accomplishment and Building Social Skills. Individual sessions can be theme-based. $45.00/session
